Visit Tacoma-Pierce County + Pierce County created a calendar-style guide to the perfect holiday season in the South Puget Sound.

Nov. 29, 2017—Tacoma, Washington — The holiday season has officially kicked off, and families are busy trying to find ways to spend time together and activities to fill winter break calendars. However, with dozens upon dozens of holiday events, attractions and performances in the South Puget Sound area in December, it’s impossible to get to all of them. Visit Tacoma-Pierce County + Pierce County has come up with a guide that will keep holiday enthusiasts and families blissfully busy throughout this holiday season.

31 Days of Holiday Magic is an advent calendar of sorts, with one highlighted event or activity each day of December. From Lakewood to Gig Harbor, Fife to Sumner, Tacoma to Mount Rainier; from seasonal singers to create-your-own glass ornaments, there’s plenty to keep a family festive throughout the entire month.

Combined with new, seasonal hotel deals in the heart of Puyallup, 31 Days of Holiday Magic gives families a good reason to pick a few choice events, take a few days off during winter break from school, book a hotel room and spend some quality time together.

“While gifts are naturally going to be part of celebrating the holidays, the currency of the season is really time spent together,” said Matt Wakefield, Communications Manager at Visit Tacoma-Pierce County + Pierce County. “There’s so much happening day after day here in December that it’s a perfect excuse to detach from the events of the world and spend a few days making memories with the people that matter most.”
