Many municipalities and public parks districts in Pierce County require permits for commercial or professional filming and/or photography, or for filming activities that could impact city rights-of-way. Below are links to permitting info for several such areas:

The City of Tacoma's Community and Economic Development Department can assist with a one-time permit fee for filming in Tacoma (no daily film charge).
