Some tips for submitting an event:

  • We frequently add community events to our calendar. Before submitting an event, please check to see if it is already listed.
  • Images are displayed horizontally and dimensions are 328x218. If your image is outside of this size it may be cropped or stretched. We do our best to reformat images but we are not always able to edit them all.
  • Our events calendar is meant for Pierce County events. If you have an event outside of Pierce County, please know it may not be accepted. If you feel your event still relates to Pierce County, please include why in the comment section.
  • Events listed should appeal to visitors to Pierce County, in addition to residents. Please ensure that your event (or similar events) could reasonably attract people visiting Pierce County from 50+ miles. Events are published at the discretion of Travel Tacoma staff.  
  • Events go through an approval process and will normally be approved within 24 hours.
