Visit Tacoma-Pierce County + Pierce County’s newly launched destination video, produced by Adam Knight of Red Element Studio’s invites viewers to experience a variety of local attractions both within the city of Tacoma as well as surrounding Pierce County. The 90 second clip will be airing through early May on KCTS, targeting Northwest and Western Canada. It will be featured next to Travel with Rick Steves and other travel related programming.
The clip is accessible through YouTube, The Google video network, as well as other Google video networks and paired with a condensed 15 second clip the videos had nearly 4,000 views just one day after the initial launch. The video features attractions such as the Washington State Fair, Lemay-America’s Car Museum, Point Defiance Park, University Place’s Chambers Bay Golf Course, The Tacoma Art Museum as well as Tacoma’s Museum of Glass.
Also highlighted are Northwest Trek Wildlife Park of Eatonville, The Mount Rainer Scenic Railroad in Elbe, along with Tacoma’s own Pacific Grill and Pacific Brewing Company. The clip introduces other regions of greater Pierce County, including the city of Sumner, downtown Puyallup, Fife, and Gig Harbor. With his Puget Sound roots from attending Graduate school at the University of Puget Sound, Knight successfully incorporated his local influence to inspire travel in Tacoma and surrounding cities of Pierce County. We have hopes that the video will influence excitement toward exploration in the city of Tacoma and greater Pierce County as we head into the summer season.
