This month, we launched Tourism Revealed's Mission #5: Reveal the Past, a history themed scavenger hunt. Participants are encouraged to find historical gems throughout Puget Sound from museums and historic theaters to vintage-style murals on the side of a pub. The new scavenger hunt includes more than 20 new deals and locations.
Each location visited qualifies as an entry to win one of three vacation getaways each month. Participating locations offer special deals and discounted tickets to ?investigators? who may present printed coupons or show offers on a mobile device.
This month Pierce County locations include Broadway Center for the Performing Arts, Doyle's Public House, Fife Historical Museum, LeMay Family Collection at Marymount, Mount Rainier Scenic Railroad, Washington State History Museum, Foss Waterway Seaport, Harbor History Museum, Job Carr Museum, Chevy's Fresh Mex, Lakewold Gardens, Fort Nisqually Living History Museum, Pioneer Farm Museum and Ohop Indian Village, INN at Gig Harbor and Brown's Point Lighthouse + Cottage.
Tourism Revealed has featured 125 deals and locations since its launch in November 2010. More than 220 people have joined the investigation. In April, Tourism Revealed received its 600th piece of evidence.
