September has arrived! Kids are back in school and although the summer weather lingers, fall brings a certain ?back to school? outlook for everyone. Many of us are planning, and the world of tourism marketing is no different.
In the next week or so you will receive notifications from the TRCVB asking for your participation as our leadership fine-tunes our long-term strategic plan. We hope that you will find the time to consider our destination's future through community consultations and surveys. In addition to our own planning project, Washington Tourism Alliance (WTA) is seeking your input. WTA is a membership organization, launched to ensure continued collaborative marketing of Washington in order to grow tourism, our state's fourth largest export industry.
WTA Executive Director Suzanne Fletcher will be traveling around the state this month, sharing information about the Alliance, and more importantly, listening to tourism stakeholders from every region of Washington.
The information gathered during these round table sessions will be vital to building our state's strategic and business plan, and your voice is needed.
