writer gathers two stories while visiting Puyallup
As the media relations consultant, I help connect with travel media in a variety of ways. There are times when a story idea the TRCVB pitched to a publication is picked up, or a writer contacts us about an interest in Pierce County, so I help plan and coordinate their visit. And then there are times when it just works out that a writer is in town for an event and we offer them more ideas to experience our destination.
Such was the case in June with writer Michelle Schusterman from NileGuide.com, a blog geared toward travelers visiting Seattle. Schusterman covered the Mother Earth News Fair on June 3-5 at the Puyallup Fair Grounds for the blog. Read her story.

We coordinated her stay at the Holiday Inn-Express in Puyallup and recommended she check out the Puyallup Farmer's Market while she was in town. Schusterman happens to be working on a market foodie website which she plans to launch soon, and she said she gathered a lot of great stuff at the Puyallup market.
