After dark, Lakewold Gardens trades its daytime calm for glowing paths, uncanny specimens and a few creatures that seem happier in the shadows. All Hallows: Creepy Creatures returns to Lakewood on October 17–18 and 24–25, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Guests can hunt for strange creature sculptures tucked among the trees, examine taxidermy and tiny details under microscopes, try a science experiment and browse a haunted vendor fair. Crafts, treats, prizes and the new Creepy Creatures contest keep the evening playful, while atmospheric lighting gives the historic garden just enough shiver. Costumes are strongly encouraged; sensible layers are, too.
Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for ages 6–17; children 5 and younger enter free. Lakewold Gardens members receive discounted admission. Parking is limited, so advance tickets and carpooling are recommended.
