GETTING TO KNOW BENNISH BROWN
We asked Bennish a few questions... here's what he said:
What are you looking forward to most in Tacoma + Pierce County?
I am looking forward to settling in and establishing a routine that includes a balance between work and enjoying community activities.
What are some of your favorite things to do outside of work?
I'm currently restoring a 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 that belonged to my father. I'm doing it more for sentimental reasons than anything else. I can't wait to complete it and take my mother for a ride so we can relive the memories of my father together.
What's something most people don't know about you?
I'm lost in the '70s. I love the music from that era, especially Steely Dan, Ambrosia, Doobie Brothers, Dr. Hook, the Spinners and more. I also love cartoons from that period, such as Jonny Quest, Thundar the Barbarian, Space Ghost and the Thunderbirds.
What are your hopes for your future in Pierce County?
I hope this doesn't just become a place where I work, but a community where I help contribute to the quality of life as an involved citizen.
