With more CVBs looking to reach visitors beyond their VIC storefront, Visit Tacoma-Pierce County + Pierce County's new partnership with the Washington State History Museum is a great opportunity show museum patrons all Pierce County has to offer.

"Tacoma's strength as a tourism center is in the partnerships among our attractions, particularly in arts and culture," Said Kimberly Ketcham, Marketing + Communications Director for the History Museum. "The museum encourages its visitors to see more of what Tacoma has to offer, and by providing display space to Visit Tacoma-Pierce County, we can highlight our fellow museums, parks, and other venues, benefiting us all."

The History Museum generously donated a space in its front lobby to serve as the satellite Visitor Information Center.  Ketcham said that it was a great opportunity for the History Museum to be a resource for visitors, and help them get a better picture of the tourist attractions in the area.

The center will be staffed with Visit Tacoma-Pierce County + Pierce County volunteers during the Third Thursday Art Walks, and information will be available for museum guests to pick up whenever the museum is open.
