Open since 1952, Burs Restaurant is a staple for good old-fashioned, home-cooked comfort food. Probably the most casual restaurant on our list, we promise Burs won’t disappoint for Valentine’s Day. They’ll be serving their entire menu which includes all day breakfast (ever had that for Valentine's Day?), as well as a few Valentine’s Day specials like a prime-rib dinner, and a seafood alfredo. If you go, you’ll definitely want to stay for dessert and treat yourself to one of their homemade cinnamon rolls or a slice of house-made pie!

For a slightly more intimate dining option, we can’t recommend Over the Moon Cafe enough! The cafe is a small, 36-seat boutique-style restaurant. The chefs aim to create old school food with a new twist. There is also an emphasis on both Italian and French fare, along with comfort food. The Cafe has a full bar with creative craft cocktails and lots of wine to choose from. While they’re not offering a special Valentine’s Day menu, we promise this place won’t disappoint! Located on the Gig Harbor waterfront, Brix 25° Restaurant has been hailed as one of the best restaurants in the Northwest. Self-described as casual fine dining serving Pacific Northwest cuisine, Northwest focused wines, and inventive cocktails, Brix 25° provides an intimate, welcoming environment perfect for Valentine’s Day. Reservations must be made and in advance and can be done so here

The menu at The Table emphasizes in-season, fresh, and sustainable food, so if your date is choosy about how their food is sourced, this is the spot for you. And it's no small bragging right to dine where the chef is a James Beard award finalist. They’re likely to have the Valentine’s dish you have in mind with their assortments of seafood, steak, and pasta. They also offer over 50 different types of wine that they can pair with your meal upon request. This Valentine's Day, the restaurant is offering a five course, prix fixe menu consisting of surf and turf, risotto, and more. Reservations are required and can be made here. This is one of our fancier recommendations on the list so don’t forget to dress up!

If you’re newly dating or don’t want to spend too much time out on Valentine’s Day, why not visit a wine bar? The Lazy Ballerina offers small plates and charcuterie board pairings, as well as sandwiches and salads. They don’t take reservations but are open from 2-9 pm on Valentine’s Day!

The atmosphere might be slightly more casual at Cuerno Bravo, but rest assured, the menu does not disappoint. Their wood-fired kitchen prides themselves on cooking with the best beef in the world. Enjoy cocktails, wine, or beer, steaks sizzling at your table, and wonderful tacos. While a reservation isn't required, we would still recommend making one in advance here

Looking for great food in a casual setting? Bar Bistro has all the cozy ambiance of your favorite bar with the food you’d expect from an excellent bistro, hence it’s name. For Valentine’s Day, Bar Bistro offers a four-course tasting menu consisting of an appetizer, soup and salad, entrée, and dessert course with the option to add wine pairings. Reservations are encouraged but not required and can be made here.
