That's right! There is a film in the works to be based in and filmed in Tacoma! Cast members include Patricia Clarkson (Six Feet Under; The Green Mile), Kid Cudi (HBO?s How to Make It in America) and Michael Showalter.
Film producers are looking for a headquarter location to set up shop for a few days in October, preferably at no cost. Their headquarters will be used primarily for office work (phone calls, copies, scheduling, etc.)
Who: Venue spaces that can accommodate 5-10 people. WiFi Internet, onsite and secure parking for a few cars and two crew trucks plus kitchen/break area for coffee and snacks are important to film production crew.
Why: Your business will get special thanks in the movie credits and website, as well as tickets to screenings of the film in Tacoma and Seattle! Your business could potentially be a site included in the film, too.
When: Production crew looking for available space for 10 days in the first two weeks of October from 7 a.m.-7p.m.
