festival to feature more than 40 breweries
The Tacoma Craft Beer Festival returns for its third year Saturday, Sept. 3 at 21st Street Park in Tacoma, Wash.
The event features more than 40 breweries, with more than 80 beers to sample.
The event is changing from a two-day affair at the Foss Waterway Seaport to an outdoor one-day festival that begins at noon and ends at 9 p.m.
Food, games and entertainment will accompany the brews. Admission is $30 at the door and includes a tasting glass, 10 tokens and each additional pour is $1.50. Proceeds benefit children's community programs in the South Puget Sound. The park is located at 2101 Dock St., Tacoma and a free shuttle will be available to transport tasters to downtown.
