Tacoma Film Festival, a local staple of the arts scene, is celebrating its lucky 13th annual run in 2018 from Oct. 4 to 11. Each year, the festival puts together a solid mix of features and shorts from local, national and international filmmakers. The innovative themes for their packages of short films is a hallmark of the festival, and has helped the festival get named to MovieMaker Magazine's "50 Festivals Worth the Entry Fee" every year since 2013.

This year, they're looking for the support of the Tacoma community to support the festival operations, including free programming throughout the festival, filmmaker lodging and hospitality, staff time, equipment and resources. The goal is to have $10,000 by Sept. 27, so if you're looking to support the local arts scene and keep Tacoma indie, you can purchase VIP tickets here, or provide a tax-deductible donation to the film festival here.

And TFF knows how to treat donors well! Donate $75 and receive two TFF movie tickets ($20 value); $150 will get you a VIP all-access pass & t-shirt ($140 value); for $250, you'll receive a VIP all-access pass, swag bag and t-shirt ($160 value); and for $500+, you'll get two VIP all-access passes, two swag bags, two t-shirts ($320 value).
